I’m not scared to get my hands dirty.

Howdy! Yes, I’m a real estate broker. But don’t hold that against me. I’m also a Dallas Fireman, karaoke enthusiast, small time acoustic guitar strummer, Crossfit wanna be, husband, dad and PJ (grand dad). Oh, and I like beer.

Over my career as a real estate investor, salesperson and now broker, I have bought, sold, leased, financed, flipped and rehabbed most types of residential real estate. I know the plus’s and minus’s of buying, selling and owning real estate and have advised both buyers and sellers on how to make real estate work for them.

I believe the proper approach to real estate is as an investment. Dream homes can quickly turn into a nightmare when purchased without the investors perspective. Granite and tile go to the emotions and look great in a perfectly lit and touched up photograph. But when the potty’s don’t flush or its wet inside, the mythical bliss of owning your own home doesn’t provide much solice.

If you are selling your home, I can help you get into and maintain the proper mindset and perspective about the process. There is always a buyer for every property. Too often it is the sellers themselves who are the biggest impediment to the sale of their property.

If a seller likes what I have to say about what’s needed to have their property sell itself, I can put more money in their pocket at closing. If simply closing fast with little or no preparation is the goal, that can be accomplished as well. Again, with the right seller mindset.

My real estate interests include farms, ranches, residential and lake front properties. Over the years, my husband John and I have bought, sold, flipped, rehabbed, demolished old and built new homes, dealt in raw land, ranches, farms, residential, commercial and waterfront properties.

We currently own a waterfront home on Cedar Creek Lake, a commercial property and a working cattle ranch/vineyard in Henderson County.

I can advise buyers and sellers about vegetable and fruit farms, pastures, barns and large animal accommodations. I am a member of the Texas and Southwest Cattle Raisers Association.

I have a Science degree from Texas Women’s University and a Wine Maker’s certificate from the University of California at Davis. An Aggie by default! This certifies me to design and assist with a vineyard should that be of interest to you.
